Catgirl Cheerleaders: A story series by Sassy Simone

This very cool story is written by me. I'm hoping that it'll be published into a manga and then an anime show. I hope you will enjoy Jade, Jessie and the rest of their friends on their epic journey to save Cheertopia. I'll begin with Chapter 1 on this month and then I'll post the rest of the chapters in the following months. You can also comment my story and if you don't like it, say it with love!

Chapter 1: The Story Begins, Part 1

"Jade, Jade! We love you! Jade, can I get your autograph? Oh, Jade, you are so popular!", The crowd shouts out. 12 year old Jade Kazi was dreaming again about being popular.
Her dream was interrupted by a "Beep, Beep" sound. "Oh My Gosh! I'm going to be late for school again!", Jade exclaimed, noticing that her alarm clock was beeping. Jade rushed to the bathroom, where once again, her older sister Jessica(also known as Jessie to her friends) was there. "Jessie! I need to get ready for school, now!", Jade yelled.
"Well, too bad, so sad. I guess you need to be first at everything, like me.", Jessie said. Why can't I be like Jessie?, Jade thought. Probably because I'm not the first born. "Look, I need to go to school, so I want you to get out of the way, please?," Jade said, impatiently. Jessie sighed and said, "OK, Jade. You win this time."

So, Jade brushed her teeth, took a quick shower and put on her school outfit. A bright bubblegum pink T-shirt with blue suspenders, a purple miniskirt and neon green and yellow tube socks. To top of the outfit, Jade put on her favorite purple polka-dotted newsboy cap and her blue Converse shoes. Then, while Jessie was making herself a protein shake, Jade grabbed a chocolate eclair her mom makes for the cafe.

The Kazi Cafe was one of the most popular bakeries in the area. After school, when Jade and Jessie were not busy, they would help out at the cafe, serving customers and baking muffins, doughnuts, eclairs, cupcakes, cookies, you name it. Jade would love it if her friends Gennie and Cassie worked with her. She also wouldn't mind if the new girls Lulu and Mary worked with her, too.

Anyway, Jade rushes out of her house with her backpack in one hand and her cell phone in the other. However, when she got to the school's grassy campus, she trips and falls into a giant mud puddle, ruining her outfit. Oh, great! This is just great!, Jade thought. Just then, Stephanie Von Strapp, the most popular cheerleader in school, comes with her clique. "Hey, look! Jade fell in a mud puddle. What a dirty loser she is.", Stephanie teases, as her clique laughs away. Jade can feel her cheeks turn a shade of pink, but she hurries up for class, ignoring Stephanie's comment.

As she runs into the classroom, the teacher says, "Jade, you're late, again. Why are you dirty?" "Well, while I was coming here, I tripped and fell in a mud puddle.", Jade replied. "Well, I hope that you did'nt you make up that excuse for the math test were having today." Jade froze up and turned ghost white. She didn't know about the test and never studied for it. As she sat down in her seat and the teacher gave her the paper, Jade panicked. "Your test starts...now!", the teacher says. Jade thought about what her mom said. "Try your best." Even if she did try her best, she worried more about if she failed the quiz.

Later that day at lunch, Jade was sitting with her two best friends, Gennie Miku and Cassie Yamabashi. She wondered if Lulu and Mary could join them one day instead of eating at the same table they always sat at. "That was a super hard test, but I hope I don't fail.", Jade said to her friends. "Oh, come on Jade, my darling. Taking a test is easy, like talking to cute boys or shopping.", Cassie said. "Don't be silly, Cassie. It's not like Jade is dyslexic or anything like that. I think that she will pass.", Gennie said. But Jade was not exactly sure. Gennie may be a good friend, but she was also the most smartest girl in school and Jade was the kind of girl that liked to slack off her homework.

Just then, Phieneas Sato, the cutest guy on the school's basketball team, was walking towards the table where Jade, Gennie and Cassie was sitting. Cassie started putting on her makeup. Jade and Gennie stared at her. "What?", she asked. "This is what all of the teen superstars do in movies when a boy is approaching their table." Almost everything Cassie does is based on some movie she watches, Jade thought to herself. Every girl in school had a crush on Phieneas, especially Cassie, who had an on and off crush on him. Jade wished she was a popular cheerleader on the squad to cheer him and his fellow teammates to victory. But, unlike Jessie, who's very athletic, Jade's the opposite of her sister. She's just not the sporty type and she can be very clumsy on the rope in gym class. When Phieneas comes towards Jade's table, Jade smiles and says out loud, "Hi, Phieneas!" and everyone in the whole cafeteria stared at her. Jade flushes in embarrassment, hoping that he didn't notice, but he did. "Hey, Jada.", Phieneas says. He got my name wrong!, she thought, mortified and humiliated. After lunch, when Jade got her test back from the teacher, she was horrified when she saw red circles on her test paper. How could she face her parents?

After school, Cassie and Gennie asked Jade if she would like to go to the mall with them. "I'd love to, but I can't. I have stuff to do at the cafe.", she replied dejectedly. While she was walking home, Jade talked to herself. "What a terrible day! I never do anything right! It's not fair that my sister is 100 percent perfect at everything! Why can't I do anything right?! Why can't I be like Jessie?! Jessie's perfect at everything and everyone likes her!", she pauses to kick a can on the ground. Then, she breaks down on the ground and yells out, "WHY CAN'T I BE POPULAR?! I'LL NEVER BE PERFECT AT ANYTHING! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!" All of a sudden, A bright comet comes falling down towards Jade, causing her to close her eyes. When she wakes up, she discovers that she was not wearing her muddy clothes anymore. Instead, Jade is wearing a ruby red cape outfit with magenta leggings with a pair of white boots and pink gloves. What really surprised Jade the most was that she wasn't on the path where she had her breakdown. All she saw in front of her was a beautiful castle with pink and white jewels on it. If this isn't Earth, Jade thought to herself, Where am I?

To Be Continued...
